AAVA is a Finnish word that, for centuries, has held special meaning for those who love natural purity and breathtaking beauty. There is no direct translation into English, but AAVA is the feeling of freedom and freshness that you experience when looking out at a vast landscape of untouched nature.
We embody the spirit of AAVA in all of our products and decision making, and take the well-being of those who want to enjoy natural, organic products, as seriously as our own.
Our Story
AAVALABS was founded in Helsinki, Finland in 2011 by Otso Kääriäinen with a vision to create pure, effective supplements that complement a busy lifestyle. We are proud to say that AAVALABS has grown from a small family business to an international team.
Our product range has also grown and we now place a special focus on vegan-friendly supplements. Still, our company's three core values have remained the same and continue to underpin everything that we do. We stand for honesty, natural-living, and giving back to those in need.

AAVALABS is a 100% remote company.
Our team members are free to choose their working location and we currently work from over 10 different countries. As such, we also speak many languages - Finnish, German, English, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese - just to name a few.
Our remote-working knows no bounds, and our dream team has previously set-up shop from a snow-covered log cabin in Lapland, the heart of Cape Town, and the mountains of La Paz, Bolivia.
We are used to making our mobile office work, regardless of where we are in the world. For us, remote-working doesn't just mean location-independence, it also offers freedom in other areas of life.
At our core, we are freethinkers who don't like to be put in boxes - united by a desire to travel, active lifestyles, and the pursuit of health.
