Is it tested for heavy metals?

Is it gluten free?
Yes, this product is gluten free.
How to store the product?
Store the product in a cool, dry place at a temperature below 20 °C, away from direct sunlight. If you can't keep it in these conditions for long periods, we recommend storing it in the fridge. The bacterial strains we use are shelf-stable and heat-resistant in the short term, so minor temperature changes during storage or transport should not affect the product's quality.
Why should it be taken with food and water?
The formula also contains zinc, which can cause nausea in some people when taken on an empty stomach. That is why we recommend taking it with food and water.
Are the capsules gastro-resistant?
Yes. We use delayed-release capsules, which are designed to pass through the stomach and open in the intestine.
Is the product lactose free?
Some of the bacterial cultures may have been grown on milk, but our processing method ensures there is no cross-contamination from dairy. To the best of our knowledge, the product is lactose free, but we do not test it for lactose. If you have a milk allergy, we recommend not taking this product.
Are the strains freeze-dried?
Yes, the strains are lyophilised (freeze-dried).
Does it contain inulin?
Yes. Besides 20 strains of live bacterial cultures, the formula contains inulin, a dietary fibre, and zinc.
Why does it contain zinc?
Each capsule provides 7.5 mg of zinc (75% NRV). Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
